I was hesitant to fork over the cash for Pro, but I couldn't find an alternative with equal functionality.I have a i200, which I like very much EXCEPT for the fan control situation. It's conceivable that this was due to some inadvertent setting, but it's not like I had set up any temperature-dependent rules, so I found it confusing. iStat Menus seemed great, then then it suddenly started randomly turning my fans off for short moments.

Under 'Control' click 'Custom' and you can then use a slider to change the fan control on your Mac'.Launch the app and you will then have access to the fans and be able to see the temperatures of the components inside your Mac.Download and install Macs Fan Control from MacUpdate.
